Dear GodotFest attendee,
We are incredibly excited that you decided to attend the first ever GodotFest! You make this event what it is. To make your experience a little bit better, here’s a “Know before you go”.
Opening#
The venue opens at 09:00 CEST, and closes at 19:00 CEST.
Directions#
A general guide can be found on our website: https://godotfest.com/directions/
Arrival with Public Transport#
We will mark the route from the subway station “Arabellapark” to the venue with blue balloons!
Arrival by Car#
There will likely not be a lot of public parking, as this is a very busy business area. And it will be paid with local terminals (which only accept cash) or a local app.
You can purchase a parking ticket from our shop (https://25.godotfest.com ) until Sunday Midnight at a reduced price (25€/day). You will receive an additional ticket in the shop, which needs to be scanned during check-in.
You can take the lift to the venue entrance right from the garage!
Directions to the garage: https://maps.app.goo.gl/uq5tXaNdBQyQAzYr8
Registration#
Once you have arrived, we will scan the ticket that you received via email after purchasing your pass.
Please bring that ticket either digitally, or as a print-out. If you forgot to bring it, don’t panic! We’ll find a way to register you.
Once you’re checked-in, you will receive a badge and are free to roam the venue. Please wear it all the time to identify you as an attendee, and because it’s great for networking. You will be required to show it when exiting and re-entering the venue.
Event#
The full schedule can be found here: https://godotfest.com/schedule/ . The venue map is also attached to this email and can be found here: https://godotfest.com/venue/
Merchandise#
Merchandise will be only sold online in our shop. You can add it to your order or make a new one: https://25.godotfest.com . You will receive an additional ticket, which needs to be scanned at the Merchandise booth at the venue, right after the Registration & Check-in. You can’t miss it!
Wardrobe#
You may check your coat and other items right after check-in to your right.
Food & Drink#
Food & Drinks are included in your pass! Just help yourself at the stations, as designated on the map. Lunch will be served between 13:00 and 14:30 CEST on both days.
WiFi#
Please feel free to use our dedicated WiFi:
- SSID: GodotFest

Show Your Work: The Exhibition#
On the second floor, there will be space to exhibit your games, tools, and apps. We will provide tables and power. Be courteous when setting up, look out for others who want to present but have no space yet. We might ask you to leave to make room for others. We might also clear the space during or after lunch, depending on how many people want to show their work.
Please make sure that your exhibition is compliant with our Code of Conduct: https://godotfest.com/safety/
Meetings#
We have two free meeting rooms on the second floor. You can book them ad-hoc at the venue by writing your name in the schedule.
Disconnect, Chill & Be for Yourself#
We have a chill-out area on the second floor, a quiet room with curtains next to it to be for yourself and a couple of small phone booths if you have an ad-hoc phone call.
Outside#
We have two outside areas (ground floor and 1st floor), where you can step outside and enjoy the fresh air.
Vaping, Smoking, Alcohol & Other Recreational Drugs#
You may vape and smoke in the designated outdoor area on the ground floor only or leave the venue to do so. Vaping and smoking is strictly prohibited indoors.
Consuming alcohol or other recreational drugs is prohibited at GodotFest. Please refer to our Code of Conduct .
Safety#
GodotFest is a safe place for everyone and is governed by our Safety & Code of Conduct policy (https://godotfest.com/safety/ ). Every attendee pledges to adhere to it by attending, so please read it carefully.
